Review for Texas Chihuahua Rescue, Inc, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I stumbled upon the Texas Chihuahua rescue one day at work while looking online to adopt a dog. I already have a 10 year old chihuahua and always wanted to adopt another.

I found Peyton on the available puppies page. She was everything I always wanted. A terrier/chihuahua mix, blonde and young. I would have adopted a older dog, however was nervous how my senior would react. I submitted my application and by 11 PM that night she was mine.

2 weeks past and it was finally time to pick her up in Buffalo. I was met by Maureen and her many volunteers. It was the most effortless process I have EVER experienced, and considering all that was involved in getting my puppy from Texas to Ontario, that says a lot.

Peyton has filled a missing piece of the puzzle for my little family. She is the best thing I have ever done, and I know I will eventually adopt another or foster some in need chihuahua. I have also become a volunteer for the organization and donate on a monthly basis to help support them any way possible!!!!

Thank you Texas Chihuahua Rescue for all that you do. You are truly angels on earth.

This was one of the best decisions of my life! I stumbled upon the Texas Chihuahua rescue on a Monday at work. I have a 10 year old tea cup chihuahua and was always looking to add another addition, however, it had to be a puppy. Within hours of finding the page, I had already submitted a application to adopt Peyton. At 10PM that night, I was contacted and advised she was still available, and would be placed on a hold for me. I paid for her the next day. The worst part was waiting for her!!

I was sent updates throughout the week, along with a guide on what to expect and the process she was going through ( vet check, neutered, her chip and so on).

They were even so kind to send pictures and a short video of all the dogs as they left on transport day !

We arrived in Buffalo at 6:30 AM and within a hour we were on our way home.

This was the EASIEST process I've ever done, and in the end, we saved her little life.
Shes now happy to be at her forever home, where she can now be a puppy!
