Review for NEW GENERATION INC, Greenland, NH, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a board member I was so inspired by the complete model of this organization's mission that I had to get involved! Investing time, teaching, energy and money in helping a generation of children receive "the best start in life"is a mission anyone can believe in! Helping young women learn parenting skills that help create a foundation for raising healthy, happy children is a way we can all tap into our best renewal resource in this world, the next generation. I hope you'll read more about New Generation and make the decision to participate in some way in helping us be successful at providing support for women who are bringing us a new generation!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The confidence of a new mother, that she knows what type of care to provide at each stage in her newborns life.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Continue to use the model that is in place, ensuring that mothers are guided in their responsibility as a parent and that they leave New Generation with skills sets that will create a stable and secure home.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Knowing the impact we have is with both the parent and the child

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

People who simply believe that we can all make a difference. The basic premise that it takes a whole village to raise a child is illustrated daily in this organization!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Ensure that all children are experiencing the positive impact of parenting that involves great love, an educated approach to parenting children. Ensure women are provided with job skills, confidence, money management and budgeting skills, nutritional meal planning skills etc.

Ways to make it better...

As a board member I find it hard to see economic limitation effect the number of women we can help at one time.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The growing number of women that need a place to call home during the most vulnerable time in thier lives.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Any local business that might have the opportunity to provide an internship and/or mentoring to our residents will be helping create a foundation for women that will lead to a secure home for a child in the future. Give us a call!
