My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Austin Zoo, Austin, TX, USA
I was able to give an animal rescue group $10,000. I had read about all of the rescue work they do and how expensive it is to run. The $10,000.00 likely only fed a few animals, but it was worth it. My hope was to help the rescued animals have enrichment toys. I know that they can suffer mentally when they do not have enough stimuli to keep their minds active. When they are rescued, they can also have additional issues from abuse and neglect. I know the rescue needed the money and they allowed me to visit the zoo to the the work that they do.
I would like to continue to give as animals are continually being rescued and funding is limited to help the many needy animals out in the world. I am a strong believer in doing one thing a day that will make someone or something better, is the best way to live.
I continue to help on a small scale by feeding stray animals across cities in the U.S., so at least the hungry animals will get one good meal.
