I was fortunate to visit Ethiopia and meet the two girls I sponsor. Tangible Hope takes one girl from each family. These girls are fortunate to be chosen and receive medical attention, uniforms, school supplies and grain, cooking oil and hygiene products for her family. The model inspires the parents to make sure their daughter makes it to class in order to continue to receive these items. These chosen girls look healthy and stand out as beacon of hope and pride in their community. Tangible Hope is shining a spotlight on the value of educating girls.

Tangible Hope’s model for uplifting impoverished girls in their communities is brilliant. Providing the poorest of the poor with necessary school supplies, medical care to rid them of parasites and other illnesses, providing them and their families with nutrition and sanitary supplies is changing the value of educating girls. This model incentivizes the families - namely the fathers to ensure that these girls reach school and home safely. The model is an example of applied practical care that is evident - tangible! These girls stand out as beacons of health and hope in their communities.

I went to a Tangible Hope Fundraiser and was so impressed by the stories and photos showing the transformation of the girls who are benefiting from the care and education that Tangible Hope provides girls and their families. This is a nonprofit that is making a profound difference. I am the proud sponsor of two girls!
