Review for The Younique Foundation, Lehi, UT, USA
I went this past July, last day was my 34th birthday. I was angry for 20 years of my life. I had a panic attack in the parking lot and the ladies stood there and talked me down. Then we get to the retreat and in a large room we meet the staff. You feel alone for so long then your put in this room with ladies around the world and suddenly you feel comfort and understanding. Your eyes look around the room and without knowing her name or where she's from you know her pain behind her eyes. Then they put you in small groups of 8-10 and that's who you stay with. You become a tribe. You become a family. They teach you ways to get through triggers, or anxiety, how to cope, sleep (that was a big one for me), and they teach you how to live again. Victims forget to live, but going to the retreat, they teach you how to breathe, live, hope and love again. I have changed in ways I can't even begin to understand completely. Myself, my husband and my kids are very grateful to the Younique foundation for this amazing opportunity to heal. I have became a better wife, mother, and person. You walk in a victim and somehow in 4 days you walk out a survivor, a warrior and a kick ass woman!
