Review for Hope Equine Rescue, Inc., Auburndale, FL, USA
My husband and I have rescued from multiple rescues from cats to horses. So when it was time to add to our family I wanted to check rescues first.
Hope Equine Rescue is an amazing rescue to adopt from. They truly care about their animals and making sure they find good homes. They stand behind what they say. When I went through the adoption process they called all of my references, talked with my vet and farrier and did a home visit. They required multiple visits with the animal before adopting out. They go to lengths to make the adoption a success for both sides.
However, they understand life takes unexpected turns. They stand behind what they say. If life circumstances change and you can no longer care for your rescue they will take them back no questions asked or if it is a short term issue they will support you to make sure you stay together.
How this Rescue stood out from the other rescues I worked with is how much care they give after adoptions. They are a continuous resource to their adopters. They are there for questions and always give tips to help. They have a group where adopters can come together and support each other from stories about their rescues or questions we may have.
They are also very transparent in everything they do. No matter where you live they make you feel like a part of their group. They continually provide live updates on their horses and their day to day lives. Their updates are things I look forward to every week.
Finally they are always there for their community. They work hand in hand with their local sheriff department to help out when their are equines in need of help.
I'm so thankful I found this rescue and they have had such a huge impact in my life. If you are looking for a rescue I highly recommend them. I also recommend following their Facebook page they make you feel like you are apart of their family.
Thank you Hope Equine Rescue for not only changing the lives of your horses and donkeys but my life too.
