Review for The Younique Foundation, Lehi, UT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Absolutely fantatstic!

Such an amazing experince from start to finish.

All I can say is WOw! The Younique Haven Retreat was the best experience! I have never felt more safe, honored and respected in my life!

They personally contact you throughout the application process, are super thoughtful about selecting your roomates and your every need is anticipated and joyfully met.
First--You have to get yourself to Utah. It is a finacial consideration for some, but I know Younique does have scholarships. Also, I know of people who created Gofundme pages to get themselves there. That is your ONLY financial expense! Hard to believe, but so true!!!!

Pick up at your location, either by train, plan or automobile. A few ladies drove themselves in. When we arrived at the house, it was aweinspiring. Beautiful grounds, welcoming staff and just peaceful. Counselors, a nurse, chef's and security are part and parcel of their daily operation. Evenings is a night couselor who is there for anyone's questions or needs.

The accomodations are top-notch! The main house has so many rooms--its 3 levels and houses floor to ceiling windows, double-staired balcony, and an upstairs "apartment". The lower level of the main house has a viewing room, a dining room, mini kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Outside patio, walking paths, tennis courts, trampoline and a poolhouse are just a few of the amenities are available.

Also, there is a secondary building on the property. They call it the "cabin." The "cabin" is so huge that it has an INDOOR SLIDE!

Lastly, the actual program: education, counseling--(group and individual), physical training, and artistic workshops all are carefully designed to honor and start the healing process in trauma surviviors.

I could go on, but suffice it to say that I have had the best experince of my life.
