Review for Omni Youth Programs, Sacramento, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Omni Youth Programs is an oustanding program for young children and families. I am proud to have been a part of the team for almost five years. The curriculm teaches the children that they have choices in life and each choice has a consquence. It was exciting to see the expressions on the children's faces while playing the many different board games or during the puppet show when they realized that they did not have to follow the crowd. They had a choice!

Review for Omni Youth Programs, Sacramento, CA, USA

I have been with Omni for the last three years. There is nothing more rewarding than to see the children's face light up when they see us. The Omni's approach to teaching the children about drugs, peer pressure and gangs is amazing. Though board games and real life role playing, the children learn what happens when they decide to use drugs or join a gang. Omni gives them fudamental steps on how to say "NO" to peer pressure. Omni's quarterly data shows that the children's behavior improves after having Omni in their classes and for that my hat is off to all the counselors.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

going to the 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes, I personally saw the growth with the children

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would give them enough money so that they could reach more children

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with the children as well as all the people at Omni, it is like one big HAPPY FAMILY

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all in it for the benefit of the children

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach more children and communities, have rallies.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to commit

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not enough money

One thing I'd also say is that...

I love, love, love this organization
