Review for Girls in the Game NFP, Chicago, IL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a physician, I know the importance that Girls in the Game has on the overall health and well-being of girls. This program has taken a leading role in reversing the trend of childhood obesity and associated health risks faced by girls everywhere. As an athlete, woman and someone who cares about kids, I believe in the mission of Girls in the Game to bring the power of sports, nutrition and self-esteem to thousands of girls. I have met the girls involved in this prorgam and know they will be the next generation of leaders in this country. As a board member, I am truly proud to be affiliated with such an oustanding organization whose award-winning programs are helping girls grow up healthy, happy and strong!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have seen the confidence, strength & conviction of the girls in the program. And their smiles & laughter say it all. This is one of a few nonprofits that has research that backs up their mission - girls who grow up playing sports benefit for life!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Being a part of a team of caring adults who care about the health & future of girls - who work together to give girls from all backgrounds the chance they deserve to develop their potential! If you want to know you're making a difference, join this team!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Men and women of all ages and backgrounds. Role models. Inspiring. Dedicated.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Ensure every girl has a chance to grow up healthy, happy and strong! Every girls in every city would get to experience what 3,000 girls in Chicago experience now!
