Review for Narrow Gate Foundation, Williamsport, TN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My son attended Narrow Gate from 7/16-2/17. At the graduation ceremony I witnessed both the growth toward maturity in Christian and the firm grasp God has on his heart. What a blessing it is to see hope on my son’s face, peace in his heart and joy in his life again. I have always known God had a special plan for Christian’s life and to see him embrace that challenge and confidently walk where God leads is an answer to years of tearful, anguished prayer.

I quickly realized Christian had become more than just a “new and improved” version of my son. I felt like I had to get to know him again because he had become a new creation…as if he had truly been born again. For the first time he spoke passionately about his love of learning scripture and how he experienced God’s unconditional love. Christian so eloquently described to me how Galatians 2:20 changed the way he understood that he was created to live for Christ, not just for himself. He was free from the chains of his past, his future is full of possibilities and wanted to live a life of faith that pleased God.

If you had told me six years ago I would get the chance to write these words about Christian, to witness his rebirth and dare to have hope for his future, I am not sure I would have believed you. But here we are eight months later and I get to write and say thank you Narrow Gate Staff for giving Christian the hope of a bright future, the faith that moves mountain and the love found only in Christ. Thank you for helping Christian become a new creation.

I want to express how grateful I am for the life-changing program at Narrow Gate. I am grateful that Christian was willing to work hard, let go of entangling sin, listen to God’s voice and surrender his life to Christ. I am grateful to the staff that have poured knowledge into Christian and been outstanding role models for him. I am grateful for Bill and Stacy's commitment to these young men. I am grateful that God is who he says He to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we can imagine.
