I'm a Vietnam War veteran, Army Nurse, and when I joined the VFW, in 2011, I learned about this wonderful charity. I'm a "Life Member" of the VFW's National Home for Children and follow their progress through mailings, e-mails, and word-of-mouth reports from other veterans, who have visited the "Home", in person. A few years ago, I even met a man, who had come to live at the VFW Home for Children, in 1926. He became a WWII veteran and has had a deep appreciation for the "Home", all his life. This is a very worthy cause and deserving of all the support they can get, from veterans as well as the general public. I urge all my friends to visit their website: www.vfwnationalhome.org.
