I was told that I could recover after my surgery there, so I took a bus here to get the surgery done. When I got here I was surprised to find out that they had lied to me on the phone. I will be on a pain pump for five days and my insurance won't cover a hospital stay for recovery that long. I postponed the surgery for now and am at home trying to figure out what to do as I live alone, and really need to get back to work. Also the staff is rude and disrespectful, seemingly only there for themselves. Hurts me to see what really goes on at the Gospel Mission. I now would never donate to that organization.
