Review for Women's eNews, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

WomensENews provides me with information and inspiration in a way that no other organization does. The general media tends to ignore the wide world of so called women's issues - which in fact affect the health and wellbeing not only of women, but of families and communities. Educating women raises the socio-economic level of the whole community. Understanding women's issues around the globe is crucial to developing a humane and sustainable world.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Helping me make decisions about how to spend my time, energy and money.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would provide them with more resources. Like many nonprofits, it does its superior work on a shoe string.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

It is a totally reliable source of news about women - generally ignored by the general media and crucial to the understanding of how the world is progressing or not.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Totally dedicated, caring, passionate, professional.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Get the news out to the world and hopefully make a bigger positive difference in the lives of women and families and communities.

Ways to make it better...

Not applicable

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Money, resources and PR

One thing I'd also say is that...

The lack of resources has nothing to do with the professionalism of the organization. It reflects the fact that even in the US, women are still 2nd class citizens - glass ceiling and all.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
