You can't get better than this! I watched Ellie grow up where I taught. Her family was always involved with their children and our school. They went on to create Ellie's Army to help other children suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. Her parents never want us to forget Ellie (and we won't) and the amazing life she led and the fight she fought. They are the real deal and, if you want to be charitable, I could not think of a more wonderful charity to donate to again and again.

I have been picking dogs up off the streets since I was a kid and I am now in my fifth decade of life. I have met many people in the rescue business. However, this summer I found my favorite rescue. I picked up a lost dog and had him for a week. I was desperately looking for a rescue to help me. Not a single one stepped up ( even several I donated to) except No Paw Left Behind. From the moment I met JJ and Amanda, I knew they were the real deal. It was so apparent to me that it was all about the animals. They took Charlie and treated him like family from day one. They knew how distraught I was that I could not keep him and they were so patient and kind with me. They sent me updates and tons of pictures. I have followed them since then and have witnessed how hard they work to make the lives of animals better. They also educate children about caring for animals. They lead by example. Maybe one day the world will be a better place if we have more people just like them.
On top of that, Charlie ended up being adopted by his foster. They were so excited to tell me and I did cry with tears of joy. Thanks No Paw Left Behind.
