My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Women's eNews, New York, NY, USA
As a correspondent for Women's eNews, I was able to bring stories to readers around the world that other publications weren't interested in--stories about female genital mutilation and how it crossed cultures from Africa to Europe, how immigration into Europe affected women's rights for the better, and sometimes for the worse, etc. These are important stories, and without Women's eNews, there would be no way to tell them. Women's eNews demands high quality journalism and allows not shortcuts, something which puts it well above most of the other news outlets. There's no fluff, no beauty and lipstick, just issues that affect women and their lives. Women's eNews makes us proud to be women as people, and people as women, because are able to share our strength and strengths among each other.

the dynamism and passion among the staff to be the best source of women-related journalism in the world. They don't shy away from the hard stories, they run after them!

journalists first and women second, not the other way around.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
translate its stories into more languages and hire more writers around the world.
