Review for Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation Inc, Lima, NY, USA
Our beautiful 15 year old blue and white IG Misty died from mast cell cancer in March 2015. I could not begin to imagine how lost we would continue to feel after that sad time. We finally took the step to adopt in August 2016, and found ourselves under Lincoln IG Rescue's umbrella. Lincoln's primary rep, Scott, was very responsive from the outset. This was an entirely new adventure for us, and we learned much over the months of waiting thanks to him. Lincoln IG rescue is a very careful, caring organization, much attuned to the needs of the waiting dogs and the hearts of potential adopters. Our local rep, Rebecca, visited to ensure our home was safely prepared for a new addition. When we finally were notified in December that a little 4-year old fawn was waiting for us in the Trenton, NJ, area, we immediately made plans to drive there from our Pittsburgh home. She was worth every waiting moment and every long mile. We have named her Ivy. She is loving and sweet, and is super cuddly. In addition to Scott's very professional and personal touch, I need to commend Kaylee (and Sill) for their commitment to opening their home and fostering so lovingly. Ivy is thriving because of them. What assets to the IG rescue community. We will be forever grateful to all involved.
