Review for Sanctuary for Senior Dogs, Cleveland, OH, USA
When I lost my Senior Chihuahua unexpectedly, I was devastated. Even thou I have other dogs in my household, my heart was empty for my small dog that was my constant companion. A few months past, and I needed to fill the void in my heart. I started by going on Petfinders to locate different rescues that had Senior Chihuahua's to adopt....When I found The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs, I came across a Chi named "Bunny", I contacted them directly, & immediately filled out a application and made a point to meet the available dogs for adoption on that Sunday. The moment I held Bunny, I knew she had to be mine, she fell asleep in my lap. After the Sanctuary did a thorough Vet check, Reference & Home check...Bunny became mine. First thing I did was changed her name to "Winnie", she is my little pooh. I've only adopted her 6 mos ago, and Winnie has put so much joy back into my heart, she is my little social butterfly, I take her everywhere possible. This Senior pup has so much personality, I can't express how much love I have for her. The Sanctuary cares so much to place their Seniors in the perfect home, I understand why. Thank you for giving me the chance to care & love this pup. --Corrine Dunning Savage
