I received an unsolicited donation request with 6 cents attached to the letter. I tried researching this charity and was unable to find any positive information about it, so I decided to contact them and request to be removed from their mailing list. To my surprise, the form on their website requires you to give your phone number if you want to stop receiving mail from them! This is very suspect. The 6 cents they gave me will be going towards a legitimate charity.
