Review for Burma Humanitarian Mission, Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Burma Humantarian Mission is a wonderful non profit charity which provides medical cares for Burmese in a conflict war zone in Burma. I have been a donor and a supporter since 2015 by running Marines Corps Marathon for team Run For Burma of this charity. My donation directly goes to the peepple in need and save thousands of life.BHM provides medicines and trainning for BackPack medics who travel thousands of miles to administer primary healthcare services to counter the effects of malnutrition , diseases as well as wounded patients in war zone in premote areas. Their selfless sacrifice and dedication to serve their people are immeasurable! With only 5 dollars, I save 2 life: the mother and her unborn baby from dealth that caused by malaria . Malaria accounts for neatly half of all dealths, especially 1:12 expecting mother will not survive pregnancy. As a Registered Nurse who works at Mother Infant Unit and NICU, I am heart-rending by learning 15% of children die before their 5th birthday, mostly from illesses that are easily treated and are preventable With the money by fund raising to run for team Run For Burma and donation, BHM can fulfill its mission by providing medical care for Burmese who have no access to health care, supports community-based backpack medics and more. I strongly believe in the their vision which seeks a healthy and vibrant Burma now and for the future. Please support this wonderful charity.

Burma Humantarian Mission is a wonderful and incredible small non profit organization. The fund goes directly to the people in need by provide medical services to children, women, men in isolate and war torn areas in Burma. As a Registered Nurse for NICU and Mother Infant , I am heart-rending to learn the mother and her unborn child died of an easy
treatable disease: malaria because of no medicines. Thanks to BHM, a Pack Pack Medics Program developed to save these mothers and their unborn babies by bringing medicines to them. This is just an example of many medical services. As a donor and fund raising for BHM by running the Marine Corps Marathon in 2015 and 2017, I strongly believe the money that BHM spends to save lives is incredibly and amazingly. With 5 dollars, the lives of the mother and her unborn baby are saved. 1 dollars BHM purchase 42 doses of medicines, 20 dollars provides 6,000 doses of PCN. In 2016, BHM supported 30, 000 people including children, women and men and treated over 13,000 patients. Total 867,000 doses of medicines provided. It is phenominal! indeed, I am honored to be a part of this successful organization to save lives.
Please support BHM by donation and consider Run For Burma if you need bib to run any races in the US or oversea. Your heart will be so content and happy to run for a good cause. And the fundraising is the lowest of all to compare with other charities. Plus the support for your training is outstanding. After all, I am speechless to know how little as a dollar can save so many lives.

This is the most wonderful organization that I have ever experienced. The job this organization does has touched my heart and my soul forever. Tears drop on my face after reading their amazing stories through their work. I first knew Burma Humanitarian through the Marine Corps Marathon , running for charity. That was the most memorable event in my life. I ran to save people lives. Only 5 dollars, I can save 2 lives , a mom and a newborn soon to be from death from a common treatable disease malaria. I keep on thinking about this and it embedded in my mind as long as I live.
I believed in pay it forward and giving , and I try all my best to share my blessing to these unfortunate people in a promote area in Burma. They don't need anything but saving their love ones from common illnesses.
Please support the organization.
