IANDS has helped me learn about near death experiences, when it typically is not a common conversational topic in our culture. Fact-based and grounded in research and actual cases, it's fascinating to learn about this from a scientific perspective as well as personally.

IANDS' annual conferences have been amazing and healing for me. To meet people who've had these happen, and hear them share their candid stories and what they learned from them. I've made many friends and had my life turned around with this knowledge and inspiration.

The mission they are doing to inform the Veterans Affairs and military about the many soldiers who are having near death experiences and have to keep them quiet for many reasons (like losing needed health care, or being put into a psychiatric ward) I feel is so important. They are one of the few organizations in the world talking about NDEs in a fact-based way and I fully support their mission to inform and spread the word to the public, and especially medical professionals.
