Review for David William Feeney Fund, West Roxbury, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Let's hope that this handsome guy, that reminds me of a movie-star gets the donations He needs to help these poor children all around the world and the forgotten elderly. When He told me the story of the little girl with leukemia who passed away in severe pain, begging for some pain relief, but passed away without anything for her pain in Mexico, it just melted my heart. He has travelled all over the world as a great teacher and great humanitarian, volunteering his time and money on children, the elderly, and even animals in need. He found a dog in front of his home (hit by a car) rushed this poor dog to the Vet, paid the vet bill and posted up pictures every-where. But no-one answered to claim this poor dog. One day in School , his students said: "Mr. Feeney we have a name for your dog!" "Lucky" He is Lucky that he was hurt in front of your home (at this time it turned out Lucky was just a street dog the Vet said. So, therefore of course with his heart of gold and his "lucky" dog by his side He brought happiness to children all over the world. Let's get this guy on T.V. So all can see how great a job He is doing just by teaching and volunteering. After all it takes only one person to change the world. If I was well-known in any-way I would have him on every talk show available to better our world. Please contribute and spread the word. We need more teachers and people like this special person. He is currently caring for his Dad in West Roxbury, and still volunteering his time as much as He can to help all those in need. He is not only a great humanitarian, but an avid runner, and encourages our youth to stay in shape and care for your their health. Let's get this guy on T.V. with his pal Lucky...Your heart will melt. Thanks for the jogging tips Mr. Feeney for my four children who also love to run, they did pay attention and stopped running during snow storms. It releieved my mind. They don't listen to me, therefore your advice came in very handy. Good-luck with your Dad, Your Career, and your volunteer work. You are a true humanitarian. Sincere Thanks for all your helpful advice. Mrs. M. Marshall

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Looking at the pictures it really does not describe how much this man has done for our World and also for me personally. In the early seventies, I looked about 12 yrs old even though I was 18. While out jogging one day two men in a car slowed down and grabbed me by my hooded sweat-shirt. His Dog Schultz who was nearby came charging through the woods barking and frightened these two men away. I would not be here today if it were not for the expert training and kindness of his german shepherd Schultz. Thank-You Schultzie, and your owner Mr David Feeney. This dog could sense who was kind and who was was a danger or a threat. I always went running whenever I saw Schultzie nearby and He would follow trailing beside keeping a watchful eye out while enjoying jogging with me as well. No leash and He always went right back to his home and sat on his front porch, and waited for his owner to come home. When I told Mr.Feeney this story it did not amaze him much for He trained his dog and made him aware of who was a threat and who to protect.. And now that He trained Lucky to help with the sick children, and those in need I know He is a great person with great humanitarian efforts, just by lending me his loving and kind german shepherd to jog with to stay safe. And today I am alive, due to his kindness and generosity of Mr Feeney and his dog Schultz. Keep on Going Lucky ! You have a great owner!! Sincere Thanks Mrs. Marshall and her dogs Buddy & Poopie.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would probably go to Coca Cola, and let them know how popular "Coca-Cola" is in Mexico.Or log on to the ellentv.com and ask if they could show some pictures of volunteering, and caring, on her show, or even the News Station in Dedham, Ma Channel 25. Contact Caesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer. They are both alike in many ways; Thanks to the kindness of their hearts, and their hope for the future. "Live for today" Live in the Moment and appreciate every day the sun shines down on us. For we never know what tommorow will bring.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The fact that He has not given up over the many years of trying to find others to help and to volunteer just a little bit of time or money to help the children, the forgotten elderly and our environment all around us every day.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Few and Far between in the U.S. We are all so involved in our selves right now with the recession (depression) We have forgotten things like the Hippacratic oath, The Geneva Convention. And The great men like "Thomas Jefferson" one of our great presidents along with "President Lincoln". (my personal favorite). We must not let the government become tyrannical in power, the words of the Preamble to the Constitution State; "WE THE PEOPLE NOT I THE PRESIDENT"

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Not only help to nourish and feed the forgotten elderly in this nation, But It could help spread word all over the world what just a little bit of kindness one man, woman , child, or animal like his great dog Lucky have done for so many unfortunate children in need of homes, medical attention, etc. and just know that there are people out there who care, they are just hard to find, and very rare.

Ways to make it better...

If I had written this earlier, I will always remember your kindness and the fact that you still keep in touch with today's society and it's environment. And especially all those who have encountered your kindness will never forget it. Thanks

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Not only apathy when it comes to the children, the elderly, and kindness to others. But we must open up our hearts and our minds to help this great organization. Help by donating what-ever you can, or by spreading the word of this great person, teacher, volunteer, animal activist etc. Thank- You Let's Make this World Better while we still have a chance.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I heard that although his Mom passed away last year very suddenly right before Christmas, She was very proud of him. He will always miss her and her kindness as well. Stay Well My Friend and keep smiling. You know she is proud of You. Love and Thanks Again, Buddy
