My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for House of Heroes, Inc., Columbus, GA, USA
I was there for the inception of this organization. I have watched it grow from something very small to a great organization that has the potential to grow even more with people spreading the word and supporting the organization. The organization has helped over 800 veterans and/or their spouses since 1999.
My father and mother were one of the veterans that were assisted by this organization. My father was a US Army Major Retired who served several tours in Vietnam. He contracted Agent Orange and lived with shrapnel along his spine. As he got older the effects of the chemicals and shrapnel interfered with what is was able to do.
For someone to take the time to help a veteran and show their appreciation for their service is a wonderful thing.
I hope that this organization can expand to more cities and states across the nation. The impact it has on veterans and/or their spouses is life changing. I believe that this organization should be helped to grow so that they can change the life of more veterans and/or their spouses.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
love to see it grow to each state and city across the Nation.
