My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The Autism Community in Action (TACA) - formerly Talk About Curing Autism, Irvine, CA, USA
TACA has been a lifeline for me since I first stepped foot in a Coffee Talk. I received a free journey guide and began friendships that will last a lifetime! My son has made tremendous gains and now I volunteer to help others navigate life with autism.
Review for Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Arlington, Arlington, TX, USA
Love the atmosphere and the free entertainment for families! My only wish is the shows would run year round as the summer here is pretty hot to get little ones out in. But other than that this is a great group keeping our city involved and giving families fun things to do during the summer and fall
Review for Generation Rescue Inc, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
Words cannot express the full magnitude of my love for this organization! We came to know Generation Rescue when my son was first diagnosed I checked out their website and received a lot of great information on getting help we needed. I attended their conference in Dallas and that's where our lives were changed forever. We were a Rescue Grant Recipient and it was the miracle I had prayed for. My son was non-verbal and in less than 2 weeks with help from the grant my son said his first words! A year and a half now after our grant ended I have a happy, healthier, very talkative little boy. We have a way to go still but we continue to receive amazing support from Generation Rescue. They truly care about helping families with Autism directly! They have given us a lifetime of hope and love when families like ours need it the most. I cannot recommend them highly enough and am forever indebted to this organization for bringing my beautiful son out of the shadows and for giving me the tools to continue our journey into healing.
