Review for Reproductive Health Access Project, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Reproductive Health Access Project is a mission driven organization that is committed to expanding access to reproductive care through education and training. The organizations strives on local and national levels to ensure women will continue to have access- the training of primary care providers is a unique way to bring their mission to urban and rural communities alike. The organizational is energetic and consistently thinks creatively to bring the mission to primary care providers and organizations that are overwhelmed with the challenges facing healthcare providers in todays world. A review of RHAPS work and website will demonstrate that they are a wonderfual candiadte for the womens empowerment award. Serving on the board as a professional in the healthcare field has been rewarding , as a woman who believes in access and choice serving on the board and helping to grow the organization has been the most rewarding experience of all.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

contributing to the opening of a teen clinc in a community where adolescent pregnancy is a crisis. As the greatest predictor of lifetime poverty what better way to contribute to a community then to provide reproductive health to its youngest members.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The committment of the staff and other board members to the mission.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

From all disciplines and backgrounds, a very diverse group of dedicated individuals

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Provide training and promote educationa and reproductive health access to some of the nations most under served communities.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month
