IANDS is was a life saver for me. Six years ago, when I came back from my nde, I was confused and extremely anxious about the changes I was going through. I needed help, but I didn't want to talk with a psychiatrist or a consular. I knew I needed to find someone that had had this same experience. I found IANDS on the internet, contacted them, and they put me in touch with a local IANDS group. Within ten minutes of talking with other experiencers, my anxiety was gone and I knew everything was going to be alright, no matter what other changes that I would experience. Without IANDS, I don't know who I would have contacted when I needed the support of other experiencers. For the last six years, IANDS has been a big part of my life. The most important thing that IANDS has given me, is a local community of support from other experiencers. Our monthly meetings give experiencers a safe place to be who they are, and be completely open about their experiences, with people that don't judge their nde or how its changed their lives. It's the only place I've found that people truly understand the experience.
