Review for Breast Cancer Can Stick It Foundation Inc, Dallas, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Another year as a Breast Cancer Can Stick It! volunteer. If you are looking for a nonprofit that does what it says it will do and is 100% volunteer based- this is the one! We do our best to keep expenses as low as possible so more money can go to the cause, helping people.

I've been volunteering with Breast Cancer Can Stick It! for about 4 years now and have seen it grow. April does whatever she can to make sure as much money goes to the cause as possible. She eats, sleeps, and breathes Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Most of the funds raised go directly to breast cancer research and trials at Baylor Sammons Cancer Center to find better treatments, and hopefully, a cure. Other donations go to help uninsured and under-insured people get mammograms and short term financial assistance. The fundraisers are always fun to work since they almost always have live music playing. This is definitely not you regular breast cancer foundation and that is the goal!

Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA

I visited this place for the first time a year ago and I immediately knew I wanted to be apart of what they are doing. When you visit, you see how much love each of these cats get and it really shows. Now that I'm volunteering, I see it even more. I see people sifting through meat to find just the right piece for the picky eaters, I see the money go directly to the cats and their health over decoration to please the public eye, I see people staying up all night with a cat after surgery just to make sure they don't bite at stitches and so they aren't alone, and I see beautiful bonds formed between animal and human. It's been an amazing experience. Visit, and you'll see for yourself.
