Review for Heritage Conservancy, Doylestown, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I will tell you that I am involvrd with many Nonprofits in the Doylestown area but what makes the Heritage Conservancy so special are the Employees of this Organization. It is a pleasure to work with people who are so dedicated to what they do and spend every moment of the day trying to make this organization better and better. Historic Preservation is very important in Bucks County and because of the large open spaces of land Agriculture is important to the county also. It is great to see a Dedicated team of professionals work together to make our County a better place to live. Because of this we are making headlines of one of the best places to live in the USA.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In preservation in and all over Bucks county.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Thank my lucky stars for the group of people that I have behind me on the driving force.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I enjoy working with people who are passionate about what they are doing. This group of people are committed to making things better and better all the time.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Knowledgable and dedicated to preservation.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

It could do a much better job at preserving areas in our county and that is important for our culture In Bucks County

Ways to make it better...

I would have joined several years ago. This truly is a well run organization.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Money! Everyone knows what we have been going through and it gets tougher and tougher for Nonprofits to do what they are fighting for every day without the proper Funding and support because the economy is suffering.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Without this organization where would we be in Bucks County. We represent wonderful farms and buildings from hundreds of years ago. New construction just can not compare to history!!!!!!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Volunteer & I am a volunteer for the new Membership committe.
