Review for Soltrekker, Portland, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I joined SolTrekker to assist in helping others become more aware of renewable energy and its potential to help solve the challenges of climate change and resource wars. I think the biggest strength of the organization is that it is unique and generates a lot of attention and inspiration. I'd say the biggest challenge of the organization is fundraising.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping to educate hundreds of local students about sustainability and renewable energy at no cost to them or their schools.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ensure a stable source of service-based revenue first before diving in too deeply to program creation and expenditures.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the camaraderie of the leadership team and their genuine desire to help make the community a better place.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate, inspiring and extremely generous with their time and resources

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

educate tens of thousands of tomorrow's leaders in how to create a more peaceful and sustainable human culture through the use of renewable energy, and assist tens of thousands of adults in employing renewable energy toward those ends today.

Ways to make it better...

I would have had more free time to participate in a greater capacity.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
