Review for Meow Village, Aurora, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Meow Village saved 9 kitties from death when they moved them from a rural area that was being developed to a barn that needed rodent control. The kitties have a great life, the barn is now rodent free, and the people on the farm enjoy the kitty companions. Also Meow Village puts on a wonderful annual fund raiser with an auction. It is very well organized and great fun! The food is tasty, auction items enticing, and most importantly the volunteers are so kind and organized. It is a great charity all around!!!

Review for Meow Village, Aurora, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Meow Village helped relocate feral kitties from a dilapidated, abandoned house that was to be torn down to a barn that needed help with rodent control. The kitties settled in quite nicely and were able to eradicate the rodent problems in the barn area. The Meow Village group of volunteers is so wonderful to work with and always have the focus on what is best for the kitties. Feral kitties are not always easy to handle and the Meow Village volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate.

Review for National Parks Conservation Association, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I greatly appreciate the National Parks Conservation Assoc.'s efforts to help our Country's National Parks remain pristine for our family and the future. The conservation of the environment and wildlife are key to our Country's soul! Preserving the beauty of this nation while also being able to enjoy it is a delicate balance that the National Parks Conservation Assoc. strives to achieve.

Review for Cascades Raptor Center, Eugene, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My husband and I are avid supporters of Cascades Raptor Center since we visted them 3 years ago and saw the wonderful work that they do. We have returned to visit every year and send donations throughout the year. The staff at CRC is always so knowledgeable and willing to share. We have felt very special when they have brought raptors for us to see outside the cages. We have a duty to help the raptors that have been harmed and CRC is stepping up to provide that help. It is one charity that we enjoy giving to often! Sincerely, Stacie & Ignacio

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the visits to the center and witnessing the way that they improve the raptor's lives that otherwise would have been ended due to their injuries.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

outstandingly wonderful and extremely knowledgeable.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

build new raptor enclosures, provide greater outreach to the community regarding how to keep raptors from being harmed, provide education to school children regarding respect for wildlife, and upgrade their medical facilities.

Ways to make it better...

parking was easier, so arrive earlier in the day to get a good parking place ;-)

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

limited funds and the need for additional volunteers.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
