Review for Woodlands Wildlife Refuge Inc, Clinton, NJ, USA
We had a mother bear by us who was breaking into houses to feed her cubs. One of the cubs was injured and couldn't walk correctly. The state set a trap and got the mother. So there were two orphaned cubs needing care. We were all so upset that they would euthanize the cubs as how would it be able to survive on it's own, not being able to walk right. All you heard were it's cries while it's mother was in the cage. Woodlands didn't even hesitate - they came in and took charge. They took the two in, named Yom and Kipur, and rehabilitated them until they were able to be released out on their own. The vet visits, the medicines, etc. Since that day, I shop Igive in support of them, donate when I can and follow all the good work that they do for the wild creatures. Thanks to them, I've been able to see the critter cam and watch baby foxes, Mike, who they worked diligently to save, and countless others. They "just do" - no questions asked.
