Review for Save the Frogs!, Santa Cruz, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I met Dr. Kriger when I was looking for a tutor for my son. With a background in Animal Science, I was able to recognize the accurate and authentic message that Dr. Kriger is trying to share with the world. Dr. Kriger and SAVE THE FROGS! is an inspiration to volunteers because the message is critical, facts and professionals support the mission, and there is so much support, appreciation and opportunity for volunteers to make a meaningful difference!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

viewing the responses of a diverse population that shares its voice in brining awareness to the plight of the amphibian. I am participating in the first ever protest to end the sale of frog legs which results in the spread of the fatal chytrid virus.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

clone Kerry Kriger. He singlehandedly does an excellent job in every aspect of the organization.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Being able to make a difference by using my skills and experience to a cause that has meaning.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

authentic, genuine, informed, passionate, and committed.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

educate individuals of the risks to frogs and amphibians, generate the awareness and support that would enable protection laws to be generated, support clinical studies, and provide protected land.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to devote to supporting it.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

this is a grassroots organization that supports a cause that is based the fact that a key component of the earth's ecosystem is at risk. It is not political, but scientific and one everyone can support!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
