Angels Against Abuse is a blessing in our community. Sandy Kearney and her whole team work hard to respond to the needs of our children quickly and to fill gaps when there are no other resources available. Angels Against Abuse provides birthday bags so children in the Guardian ad Litem Program have something to celebrate on their special day. In addition, Angels Against Abuse funds gas cards for our Guardian ad Litem volunteers who might be unable to do home visitations outside of the area without their support. Volunteers have told us that the gas cards help remove an obstacle to their volunteerism and Guardian ad Litem volunteers are essential for the child to have a voice in court. Thank you Angels Against Abuse for being their for our most vulnerable population.
