Review for Israel Longhorn Project, Sebastopol, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am a friend of Robin's and a sounding board. His idea is a very simple one; using American Longhorn cattle to supplement livestock in the Middle East that are not well suited to arid environments. The project combines ecology and economics to provide for a stable and sustainable food source; a stronger economic base for the ranchers of the Middle East and East Africa; and a way of reducing famine, increasing a solid economic base, which in turn should advance peace within the region, without harming the environment.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the vision and passion of its founder, Robin Rosenblatt. He is an outside-the-box thinker, using his education and experiences to try to make a better world.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

feed the starving masses of the Middle East and East Africa, which would promote a stable economic and environmental base.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
