Review for Trees, Water & People, Fort Collins, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I worked for Trees, Water & People for 4 months as a public relations intern and I couldn't have asked for a better organization to gain non-profit experience from. Trees, Water & People is so committed and passionate to the work that they do locally, nationally and internationally and it was very rewarding to be apart of their team. I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to represent TWP as an intern because I was able to practice public relations for a cause that I truly believe in.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand the local program

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Working with wonderful people

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Provide every family in Haiti with fuel efficient stoves, plant thousands of tree nurseries in Central America to offset carbon, implement more renewable energy programs for tribal families and create global awareness sustainability issues!

Ways to make it better...

I could have extended my internship

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Limited resources

One thing I'd also say is that...

Trees, Water & People has a strong following in Northern Colorado for their international efforts, one could only imagine their potential if they were able to expand to other parts of the world

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Former Volunteer & I helped create awareness about Trees, Water & People through media, community and cyber relations.
