Review for Koginka Sewaluna Foundation Inc., Asheville, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have attended many seminars with this nonprofit. The work that they do is beyond words beautiful. The workshops provide opportunities for people around the world to learn about environmental preservation in a practical sense and also from the native elder's perspective. The founder of the non-profit has a very deep relationship with the Kogi Tribe and Mamas from the Kogi Tribe which are the wisest elders they sometimes come and participate in the seminars and events. The Koginka Sewaluna Foundation has helped a lot with the Aluna the movie project from the Native people to help spread their message. Putting the message of the elders into action by helping to preserve the land and recover sacred sites and protect them from being destroyed, developed, or stolen from the native care takers. The work that they do is so honorable on a human level, and on a heart level because caring for the earth inspires and naturally brings about this sense of caringness and beauty. It is really remarkable. I am so humbled and thankful to have the opportunity to learn with this amazing non-profit. Check out for more information about the Kogi Mamas and what their urgent message for humanity is all about - they want to help preserve the earth for future generations that really care for mother earth. Powerful film.
