Review for Lil' Orphan Hammies, Solvang, CA, USA
Sue Parkinson, the founder and director of Lil" Orphan Hammies has proved in her actions alone and her commit of words that Sue is a Pig Angel and Pig Herd Mom all combined advocating for the well being of all pigs no matter their size, age, sex or color. She strives
with every breath to rescue, care for and love the most miss understood animal on our planet... PIGS. Her 5 acre sanctuary is dedicated to the housing, sectioned feeding, medical treatments and free explorer for all pigs lucky enough to find their hooves landing in Sue and her volunteers care. Over the past decade I have been fortunate to be involved in many rescues of pigs in need with Sue. She shares her knowledge freely and is always willing to lend a hand to any pig people in need. Her plus 25 years of experience has given her insight towards the proper care, socializing skills, dietary needs and proper health concern of hundreds of pigs passing through her sanctuary over the years. The work of educating the world about pigs has been Sue's life's work and one she takes pride in with anyone and everyone she meets each day. I am extremely proud of the work Sue has done for an animal that has very few people advocates to kindly help them on their journeys through life.
