As a start-up non-profit doing innovative work on the edges of what people typically think about, it isn't easy to capture the attention of funders who are used to looking at bigger fish doing more typical things. What a lift, gift, inspiration and motivation it thus was to learn about the Good People Fund and to meet with their wise and emotionally intelligent ED and trustees. They listen, they ask good questions, they think about interesting things in different ways, and they genuinely care about making a difference in the world. They also understand how hard it is for smaller non-profits to be seen. And yet some of the best work is happening on the edges and in the corners. The Good People Fund is exactly what it's name suggests: Good People helping Good People do Good things. It is a much-needed, compassionate, smart idea that is very well executed. I am grateful
