My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
I walked into the Conservancy lunchroom one day and found a green bin with a sign that said "feed the worms - compost your food scraps!" I don't know of any other organization that takes "recycling" so seriously. Everyone uses recycled paper, but the Conservancy goes the extra step to try and print all of our materials using soy-based inks and renewable energy sources like wind power. There are signs posted in the ladies' room that remind me how I can save energy and use less power every day. This organization really practices what we preach!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the way it's changed my thinking about my own carbon footprint - I never knew how easy it was to recycle, compost... I've started taking all the lessons I learn at work and incorporating them in my every-day life.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
wonderful! caring, energetic, friendly, positive, visionary...
