Review for Casey Cares Foundation, Columbia, MD, USA
Casey Cares was one of the first organizations to reach out to my granddaughter when she was diagonosed with leuken=mia in 2004. They were a godsend to her and the rest of the family, providing outings,pizza and movie nights at home through the Family Festivities and Caring connection Programs while she was in treatment, support to her parents and siblings while she was in her last days, and continued to provide special together time for the family after her death through their Better Together program. This is why I now devote my volunteer time to Casey Cares. they don't jsut reach out once to a child with one grand gesture, but do the little things in life that matter each and every day throughout their entire illness.

ways that matter to families every day through opporutunites for special time with the siblings of the sick child, the together time for the enitre family whose funds are too low to provide them for themselves and the commradery between the families.

Kamryn, my granddaughter, had been able to participate in more of the activities Casey Cares offers, but unfortunately, she was too ill.

limited resources for advertising and difficulty in obtaining cash sponsorships.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Casey Cares does an incredible job of obtaining the donations needed to provide ongoing activities to our families using volunteers and in kind donors to keep administrative costs very low.
