I wanted to become a CASA volunteer after retiring almost 5 years ago-knowing it was my time to give back to our community. Knew it was something I should get involved in, and I did. So glad that I did. It is my passion to help these children.
Of course CASA is under the umbrella of Advocates for Children; I totally support anything they do. I usually bring someone to the quarterly information breakfast to make them aware of opportunities that exist thru Advocates. There is some program of volunteering that everyone can get involved in. I cannot say enough good things about this nonprofit organization.
