Review for Freedom Service Dogs, Inc., Englewood, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I believe Freedom Service Dogs is a great organization. They have an incredibly dedicated staff who highly value their volunteers. The organization is completely focused on the mission of rescuing dogs who then go on to help disabled people. It is especially rewarding to see the Veterans whose lives have forever been changed by war can once again participate in normal life. Or, a teenager confined to a wheelchair is able to become more independent from their parents. And, many other situation. The Service Dogs are given to the clients free of charge including lifetime support.

They treat every dogs is treated as an individual, and matched with an appropriate situation, whether it be into training as a Service Dog, a therapy dog or a skilled companion dog. Those not suited for one of these roles are put up for adoption. They are carefully match with potential adopters to ensure they get a good caring lifetime home.

For me, it has been a life changing event. To be able to be a small part of the dogs lives during their time here whether simply playing with them, taking them for walks or on training outings all comes together when you see the dogs placed with their clients. These dogs change the lives of the clients and their families!
