I visited Longhopes Donkey Shelter recently, and was impressed with their success. The facility is housed with donkeys from a variety of neglectful backgrounds, yet when I saw each donkey at Longhopes, I could see the sparkle had returned to each donkey's eye. This farm is clean, well managed, and each animal is lucky to be placed there. The animals seem to know they're in good hands, and are relaxed, at peace, and content. Kudos to Longhopes Donkey Shelter!
