Review for Pawsitive Teams Inc, San Diego, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Life is short, and time is our most precious resource. So I believe it's important to spend time where one will do the most good when it comes to volunteering. I have volunteered with various non-profit organizations (both large and small) over the past 15 years, and Paws'itive Teams stands out the most to me because it impacts the local community in a truly life-changing way through its service dog, therapy dog and educational outreach programs. Volunteering with Paws'itive Teams has given me some of the most rewarding experiences that I've had in my life.

Review for Armed Services YMCA San Diego , San Diego, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Volunteering at the Armed Services YMCA at Balboa has been such a rewarding experience for me. Not only does the ASYMCA have many different volunteering opportunities and events, but the staff is also so friendly and helpful. Because of them, we (the volunteers) are able to reach out and help so many patients and their families.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

it allows my family to give a little something back to help soldiers and their families who have given so much to us.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

wonderful. You can tell they genuinely care for the patients and have their best interests in mind when developing programs and events.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to volunteer with the Armed Services YMCA.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
