I love the LGBT Center of Raleigh! It's amazing. Everyone is welcome and feels welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. We laugh together and celebrate all the wonderful victories we have had in the last year. The center has stellar programs ranging from a Transgender Support Group to a Faith Forum. There is practically a program or meeting everyday. Allies are welcome too and there is even a group for them that helps educate people on LGBT issues and LGBT people are invited, as allies are welcome in some of the other groups. The library is well known for having the biggest collection of LGBT themed books in the Southeast and they also have great DVDs. There is also STI/STD testing 2 times per week for everyone which is extremely valuable to the community at large. So come on in... there's always free coffee and great conversation. :)
