Review for National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, Longmont, CO, USA
I got pancreatic cancer in July of 2014. As my cancer progressed and I went through chemo, I found that the co$t of co-pays for medications; for surgeries; for biopsies; and everything in general were exorbitant. I found myself pushed into poverty, and I became desperate for financial help.
Right then I found the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation! I couldn't believe that an organization existed, for ANY illness, much less pancreatic cancer, that would do so very much to help sufferers of this horrid disease - and just when I needed it most!
The Foundation, and Rhonda in particular, have always been very fair and absolutely prompt in responding to all of my requests and needs. Rhonda has gone out of her way to assist me on a number of occasions, for instance, in getting a payment out to a creditor on a schedule so that it is not late. I have received help in paying my rent in full for 6 months; and also gas and electric bills, and my phone bill.
It has been not just a pleasure but a delight to have the NPCF in my life. They have helped me more than I could ever imagine. And the impact of this help has significantly lowered my stress, fear, and worry level; enabling me to focus on healing, doing the many things that I had to do, to address pancreatic cancer.
The NPCF is one GREAT foundation! I will remember them and be grateful to them for the rest of my life. Truly, I give them the highest recommendation that a foundation of this kind can ever receive!
Thank you, NPCF!!
