Review for The Coming Home Project, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

-Great Counseling -Was able to share stuff that was hidden for years -We went kayaking -I felt free and safe -The group therapies was great and helpful to me -I finally sought help after talking to one of the women there... it was something that I never wanted to do but I did it and it helped -I experienced Chi Gong and it helped me to relax and I was able walk(I've been in a wheel chair for over six months) -The place was great, peaceful and beautiful -I was stress free -Hearing all of the other womens' stories helped be strong, to share my stories, to comfort others as others comforted me -I keep in touch with most of the women that attended the Oct. 2009 Womens' Retreat -This is the best thing that ever happened to me and will be for anyone else that attends -There were no thoughts of war anymore...just peace and freedom from war and death -This is the best experience I've ever had -This organization was very well organized

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

-Oct. 2009 @ the Womens' Retreat -I've grown in my spiritual manner -It helped me mentally and emotionally -It helped me to be stress free -It gave me the courage to seek the help that I needed... for my sake and the sake of my family

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

-Everything, I wouldn't change a thing -It was the best

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

-Helpful, kind, generous, met over my expectations

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

-Help other soldiers like the women at the retreat in Oct. 2009 -All soldiers would be able to benefit from this experience

Ways to make it better...

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

-Having the family retreats are just as important and as great as the Women's Retreat -We need more generous people or organizations that would help donate money so that this organization could help more soldiers

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time
