My daughter, who loves all animals but especially big cats, found In-Sync several years ago and has since become a volunteer, she drives over an hour to get there. When my grandson was younger he wanted to adopt a tiger for his birthday so he did. There is an adoption program but the cats never leave their home and you can only visit through the fences. He is now old enough to volunteer, so he gives up one Saturday a month to do so. I have visited many times and always find things clean, the animals well cared for with playgrounds, toys, enrichment, swimming pools and dens which are cool for summer and filled with hay keep them warm in the winter. Each variety of cat is cared for in that cat's best interest. Tigers like swimming pools and water tubs, lions do not. Their feeding time is late in the day with no visitors present, except by special permission, so that the cats can eat in peace. When a cat has lived out its lifetime, it is respectfully cared for and its name goes on a memorial wall. The ashes are placed in an urn chosen just for that cat, and maintained in a special place. No cat goes unloved. All together a wonderful place for some of God's most beautiful creatures that can no longer, for whatever reason, live in their natural world.
