This rescue has been a great lifesaver to so many abused & neglected horses. The many people and services that come together to make these salvations successful are a hopeful, positive community that shines its light into many lives, a special byproduct of saving the horses.

I was fortunate to witness the birth of L.E.A.N. and see in person, some of the outstanding results of many people's dedication for horses. I enjoy following the pictorial history of each rescue and hope that more people will be influenced to get involved. L.E.A.N. was borne of the fiery passion and selfless love of horses that it's founder discovered in herself years ago. I am inspired personally by this passion and also that of the fosters and volunteers that are L.E.A.N.!!
