Review for Cambodian Community Dream Organization, Inc., New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Forgotten International, a US-based nonprofit that makes donations and provides volunteers to CCDO, accompanied a representative group of graduating students from a multicultural student-led service club called Atlas at Riverside High School in Greer, South Carolina. This student group works with TFI every year to raise funds for programs we assist around the world. This year Atlas chose the CCDO and decided to visit Siem Reap to make their gift in person. The CCDO put together a week-long service-learning trip for the young people to engage with local students at the schools CCDO serves. I believe the 10 students who made this trip have a new perspective on life and will make giving and caring part of their future. Thank you, CCDO! We learned a lot from you and your students. Continued success in all your good work!

We are happy and honored to work with CCDO year after year. We make small grants to several grassroots programs each year and always try to support CCDO's worthwhile projects. We also send a select few Fellows to work abroad each year and one of the organizations we send our volunteers to is CCDO both because the Fellow will learn much by contributing to a thriving organization and also for the enriching experience they will gain working directly with a community in need. We wish CCDO continued success!

My foundation provides both volunteers as well as small grants to the CCDO, and we have been happy to do so for these last two years. We share the common cause of helping some of the most vulnerable people not only survive difficult circumstances, which are largely out of their control, but also gain the tools needed to help themselves out of poverty. What the CCDO does is life-changing, and we look forward to our collaboration with them in the years to come and to continue to celebrate their good works.
