Review for Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary Inc, St Pauls, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Love the blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary!!!! Having had a cat who was partially blind I know what wonderful pets they make and how much they deserve to live and be loved. I am so thankful of their mission to give a loving home to the cats that are blind or FIV positive who may otherwise have been put to sleep. I am planning on taking a vacation in the future to visit this wonderful place, people and cats who live there. Although I am not rich I will always try to donate or help by clicking for the cats here. Kristine Hanson

Review for Mercer Island Eastside Orphans & Waifs (aka MEOW Cat Rescue), Kirkland, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I was looking for a companion for my cat 11 years ago when I decided to try looking at Meow since I had just moved to Kirkland. Usually it is very hard for me to go to shelters as the animals all are so scared and it breaks my heart to leave any of them. Meow is the only one I have ever gone to that the animals were so cared for and loved that they looked relaxed and happy. I had a wonderful lady who sat in a room full of cats in the visiting room with me and let me interact with them before finally giving me a recommendation on one little tabby with a manx tail that she thought would be perfect for me and my cat. Minnie got in my lap and settled down purring and I knew she was the one. I have recommended them to many people looking for pets since and every time I look at Minnie I am so grateful I went into their door and gave them a try. I donate to the shelter every year and hoping to be able to volunteer there when I retire. Love Meow

Review for Mercer Island Eastside Orphans & Waifs (aka MEOW Cat Rescue), Kirkland, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I was looking for a companion for my older male cat 10 years ago. We had recently lost his brother and he was very lonely. I went to Meow as I had recently moved to Kirkland and was so amazed. I have always gotten rescue cats and normally am in tears by the time I leave the shelters, didn't want to leave any cats behind . I know they all do there best to take great care of the animals and find them homes but it would break my heart to go. Meow was such a breath of fresh air! The cats all looked happy, they have play rooms where they get out and can interact with other cats and people. And that is where I found my Minnie. I was sitting on the floor and visiting all the cats and kittens and one of the wonderful people who work there pointed her out to me and said if she was looking for one, Minnie (then Patsy) was the one she would take. She came over and sat in my lap and the rest is history. I love her to death and she will always have a forever home with me.
